It was incredible base for visiting most Edinburgh attractions.
The fact that no parking lot.

This place is mind-blowing! It's got so much character and the bed is super comfy. The location is perfect for tourists with lots of restaurants, bars, and cafes nearby. Mel, the host, made everything so easy for us and had GREAT local knowledge. The place was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well-equipped with an electric kettle, cookware/utensils, and a shared kitchen. The flat-screen TV kept us entertained and the express check-in/-out was a breeze. We even found a park nearby for our dog! a jaw-dropping experience in this hidden gem. We'll definitely be back!

The host, Mel, was incredibly helpful and provided us with valuable local knowledge. The location was perfect, surrounded by vibrant bars, bustling restaurants, and even a nearby park for my dog. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. Despite a few minor inconveniences like a broken toaster and cobwebs in the bathroom, I found the overall charm and coziness of the place to be exceptional. The accommodation was warm and the bed was really comfy. With its great location and charming character, I would definitely recommend The Auld Pottery to fellow travelers. I had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again.

Located in a convenient part of the city, close to everything, including the castle and the Royal Mile, Heritage City - The Auld Pottery offers a unique stay with some nice features. The property has a character that is out of place for its location. The bedroom even has a balcony, perfect for enjoying the view. The host is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Some aspects of the property need attention. The bathroom could use some TLC, and the cleanliness is not up to par.

We had a wonderful stay at The Auld Pottery in Heritage City. This fabulously quirky and compact property gave us a great sense of space inside. The small balcony off the top floor bedroom was a lovely addition. As dog owners, we appreciated that this place is pet-friendly. Melanie, our welcoming host, even went the extra mile to bring us a pint of milk upon our arrival. Although parking outside the property was not available, we were allowed to briefly park for unloading before using the assigned parking place booked through another site. The location is perfect, close to the city center, and we would definitely stay here again.
Can't think of anything 🤔

The value for money at this quirky and character-filled hotel was fantastic, and the room itself was cozy and comfortable. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, and stores nearby. The staff, especially Mel, were incredibly helpful and friendly.
The only thing that could make the breakfast menu better would be a wider variety of options.

This cozy apartment is located in a very convenient part of the city, close to the centre of the city, lively bars, busy restaurants, and even a park. The location allows easy access to everything the city has to offer. The property manager, Mel, provides excellent service, offering local knowledge and quickly resolving any issues that may arise, such as a non-working boiler. The apartment is also well-equipped and spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The property does experience some road noise in the bedroom, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the hotel, with its cozy and traditional furnishings. It reminded me of the good old days, and it made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were impeccably maintained and had a lovely atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with everything conveniently located on the ground floor and easy to navigate.
My only wish for a better vacation for senior people would be for the staff to be a little more accommodating and attentive to our needs. Sometimes, it felt like they were too busy with their own tasks and didn't prioritize assisting us.

The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to the city center and within walking distance of all the main attractions. The convenience of being near everything made exploring the city very easy. The room had all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine and dryer, which made it feel like a small home away from home. The host provided everything needed for a good stay, and the small apartment had a cozy and adorable atmosphere.
The bathroom could have been cleaner and could use some TLC, as there was a slug in the shower upon arrival.
